Thanks, you fixed it. Build of buildenv with GCC 4 now works fine for
me. (Took about 3 hours on my old P4 machine though!) I have also
reproduced the build error for "elvis".
One minor point: when I try building the "root" package it fails at
building "syslog-ng" because there is no declared dependency on "flex":
cfg-lex.o: In function `yylex':
cfg-lex.c:(.text+0xece): undefined reference to `yywrap'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[4]: *** [syslog-ng] Error 1
I added "Name = flex" to the <Requires> section for "syslog-ng" in
sources.cfg which seemed to fix it. If you agree that is a sensible
solution please could you make the change in CVS.
