phpWebSite 0.9 was released yesterday. You can get a feel for the new
functions available by using the demo.

I took a look at the annoucement and all the examples that were listed here: http://tinyurl.com/766x

I feel that most of the examples are too busy with
information spread carelessly.

Matt,
All of the example sites on that page are still running the old 0.8.x
code. The new 0.9.0 code allows greater theme options. Did you look at
the themes in the 0.9.0 demo 'Layout Manager' module under 'Core'?

After loging in click on the 'modules' link under 'Hello admin'.

Ahaa. I *did* look at that 0.9.x demo page, but I didn't
see that you could login and doink with it. Thanks for
pointing that out. It looks very impressive at first
glance. I like the cowboy theme. Heh.

Simplicity is a fundamental part of our LEAF nature.
We boil an OS down to it's simplest pieces.

Sooo, I'd like to see 0.9.0 work great for you/us,
but using all it's features is overload imo.
That's my feeling on content.

With the new modular code, we can choose the components we need/want.

Great!

It's better to see a bunch of menus fill the left
hand column than splintered, vascillating information
that probably belongs filed lower down than the home
page. All imo, and I ask for comments.

Did you look at the 'Menu Manager' module in the 0.9.0 demo? It's now
possible to create horizontal menus, activate menus on selected pages
only, etc.

That's really impressive if it's all modular
and component oriented, customizable with great
ease. I think that's it's selling point isn't it?

Matt
