As a preamble to the International Peace pilgrimage, there will be a Peace

Conference at the Public Lecture Theatre, Melbourne University on 15th
-16th November. It promises to be an amazing event with people sharing
ideas and experiences from all over the planet. Speakers include:

- Hougyou Satoua - Hiroshima survivor
- Jeffery McKenzie- American Military Families Speak Out
- Ponpei Ishii: The Ainu Cultural Heritage Association (Indigenous/Japanese)
- Aurellio- Native American Activist
- Gertie Oelmack: Austrian anti-nuke campaigner
- Representatives of the Kupa Piti Kungka Tjuta (senior
- Aboriginal women from South Australia)
- Speedy Mc Guinness: Elder from area near Rum Jungle
Uranium Mine Northern Territory
- And a range of indigenous, environment, anti-nuclear and peace activists
