Jerry, You do not say how you tried to access the IGI site so I have tried
various ways. In Legcay I set my default browser to Netscape 7.2 and did a
search using Search>Search IGI and then viewed the image. No problems. I
also went to Family Search (English) and then their IGI page again no
problems. This does not mean that there is not an error for other countries
though.
With Netscape the show/hide script errors for web sites is, I believe, set
to "hide" by default and I have not found a way to change this...
So in a nutshell I cannot see how you are getting this message. If I have
not covered the way you are getting to the site please let me know (with the
URLs please) and I will try again to reproduce your effect.
While searching for an answer I did happen to notice that Netscape now have
an 8.1 version and I will be downloading this shortly - maybe it will
provide an answer to your problem as well.

Thank you for the reply, Ron. That box was already unchecked. You're
indicating that it's a Browser problem. I don't use IE, but Netscape 7.2.
Any recommendations for Netscape?
Thanks.

Whenever I search the IGI for an individual, I get an "Internet Explorer
Script Error. Line 224; Char: 30; Error: Unspecified error; Code: 0; URL:
http://www.familysearch.org/ENG/Search/customsearchresults.asp?
first_name=Giacomo&last_name=Seghi&fathers_first_name=L
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Yes or No"
It makes no difference whether I choose "Yes" or "No", this annoying
screen pops up right after I click 'Yes' or 'No'.
How do I get rid of this pop-up?
I'm using the latest build, but since this is my first attempt to search
the IGI, I don't know if there was a problem before I downloaded this
build.
Thanks.
Jerry
