Kirsten, I tried it and it did nothing, same thing. Here's what I found. The sources that were entered in V6 appear right after the item being sourced. For example, John Doe was born, etc. (source). Sources entered with sourcewriter in V7 appear correctly. When footnotes is checked, event sources are incorrectly numbered and are sources for other events and people. A descendant book through publishing center is even worse. Not only are sources messed up but formatting is inconsistent. Some fonts are large, some tiny, even in the same sentence. Wanted to do a little book for Christmas presents. Hopefully, the new update will correct this. Marie

Could you do another test and see if it works? It's like this: 1. Recreate the Legacy report you did before that had source notes mixed into the report. Create an RTF file, then open and save it as a .doc. 2. Open the file in Word, and select the following: Insert > Footnote > Options > Convert > Convert All Footnotes to Endnotes > OK. See if that works to group the source notes in proper sequence at the end of the report. I would test it myself except I can reproduce a report with source notes mixed as yours were. Thanks again for helping; this just might be a Band-Aid for part of the problem. First time checked sources as footnotes. Beautiful, perfect. Second time I checked sources as endnotes. What a mess. The notes are all mixed in with the report, in no particular order. It didn't seem to make any difference whether the sources were written with Source Writer or not. Has support mentioned if this is a bug that will hopefully be worked out in an update in the near future or is it a bug that we'll have to wait for a while to be fixed?
