What I did in his file I deleted my husband, me and our children. That what when I import the file I will only need to pull my husband up and then link to his parents and everything will be linked together.

What scared me when I started the process is there is an option to add a source for everything in the file when you import and I don't want to do that! I want all my sources for his file to stay intact!

Michele,

Basically, you need to use File>Export>Legacy and then Import into your file. Set to import to your file with s starting RIN greater than the last in your file. I guess your husband is in both files so you will need to merge him into the husband in your current file and ant other duplicates.

***Back-up your files***

I have finally finished cleaning up my husband's file. I want to import the
entire file into my file.

How can I import the ENTIRE file including the location lists, event list,
SOURCES, etc?

michele
