At the Marriage Information input screen, a Marriage Status can be selected from the "Master Marriage Status List" that is displayed by clicking the down arrow beside the Status field. There you can select a status from the list, or add a new status.
If "Divorced" is selected, then in the narrative in the "Descendant Narrative" report includes the sentence "The marriage ended in divorce." If a specific date for the divorce has been input, eg November 13, 2008, the sentence will be "The marriage ended in divorce on November 13, 2008." I would like to change the wording of the narrative for the status "Divorced" from "The marriage ended in divorce." to "They were divorced." How do I do that? I experimented with the "Events/Facts" feature, but the "Noted Events" caption in the report is just more clutter. I have used Microsoft Access to develop and maintain a number of applications, but I have been unable to find the table in Legacy where you can make such a change.
