I had the same problem a while back, and this is the reply I received (it's probably in the Legacy archives):
Try using the Books/Other>Publishing Center>Pedigree Chart. Once in the Pedigree chart dialog, go to the Options tab and select page setup and you should be good to go. Seems strange, but it worked.
