Marty,

We caught that shipping mistake about 15 minutes after the announcement, so the
downloads are back to no shipping. Sorry for the confusion earlier.

Geoff

I prefer e-books and use a Nook. What I don't understand is why Legacy charges
$7 "shipping" for a download.

Eliz,

I can read ebooks using a Firefox browser add-on, they are better than PDFs, I
haven't tried Kindle, which I gather is better than reading from any monitor
screen.

Nevertheless the fact is I am a bookworm! I have well over a 1000 comprising a
mixture of technical (including genealogy) and non-fiction. I do not object to
the cost of them, indeed many have cost much more than that of Geoff's book +
shipping. It's simply that I feel there may be a better way of doing
international trade that paying for single shipments.

I know that when I used to ship into the UK, bulk chemicals from Japan, the
unit shipping cost decreased quite rapidly as the volume of the shipment
increased.
