I've never understood surname filing so this might be a good time to ask. I have about 5000 surnames in my database so would I create a folder and sub-folders for every single surname? Is it that straightforward or are there problems that come up with duplicate records or before/after people are married? ----- JL Beeken JLog - simple computer technology for genealogists http://jlog.jgen.ws/
