When it comes right down to it, whether you upgrade now or later to a later version of Legacy, you will eventually upgrade only because as you upgrade your computer you are almost forced to upgrade the software at some point.
So whether you choose to upgrade now or in the future, the discussions are relevant to everyone if they want to make sure their favorite options are kept, expanded upon in the future, corrected, or deleted. But no - no one should be forced to upgrade immediately.
