Hi Tracy,
I can't help with your error problem as the entry with brackets around in
AKAs in my files works OK. However may I ask what an "incorrect name" is? I
have several variants of names which I have found in censuses, IGI records,
BMD's etc, more often than not from the 19c when many people were illiterate
and over the years one can see how the spelling has changed. As far as I can
see they are equally as valid as the entries in the records were made by eg
clerks who spelt them the way they thought was correct and their guess is at
least as good as mine. Following this logic through I include all variations
in AKAs.

Hi there,
Is there any way around this error? How do others deal with incorrect
names?
Cheers
Tracy
