The options are "City, State, Postal Code" and "Postal Code, City, State." GEDCOM Import - Added a new option on the import screen to "Sort events by Date while importing." Some other programs don't export events in chronological order so this was needed to get them back into order. Check/Repair - Added a new option on the File, File Maintenance, Check/Repair screen to "Sort events by date". Multiple lines of Descent Report - If there are no marriages selected the report automatically prompts for them. Ranges of MRINs are now supported. E.g. (1-5, 23-42) Potential Problems Reports - Added Printer Setup button. Sound formats - Added the .wma (Windows Media Audio) file format to the Open dialog box when adding a sound file to an individual. This type of sound file will only play when you are using the Default Media Player option on the Options > Customize > Launch tab. Source Clipboard - Added the ability to put font formatting codes into the text of the Source Detail and Source Detail Text fields. Web Page - The option on the Graphics tab to "To use a solid background color" was only a Deluxe Edition feature. We have enabled this for the Standard Edition. Web Page - The option on the Who tab to "Include Private Individuals" was only a Deluxe Edition feature. We have enabled this for the Standard Edition. =========================== Changed =========================== Backups - You will only be prompted to make a backup if you changed any data in the file. County Database - A few updates have been made to the US Historical County database. Date Sorting - Changed the sort dates for incomplete dates: 1888 = 0 Jan 1888 instead of 1 Jul 1888 Jun 1888 = 0 Jun 1888 instead of 15 Jun 1888 Aft 1888 = 32 Dec 1888 instead of 1 Jan 1889 Bef 1888 = 0 Jan 1888 instead of 31 Dec 1887 DNA Tests - Added support for the Family Tree DNA 66 Marker test and updated a couple other tests. Dual Monitors - A few improvements for Dual Monitors users. Marriage List - When Linking to Existing Parents for a wife the marriage list used to open with the Husband's name. It now opens the Marriage list with the female's surname filled into the Husband's find box. Publishing Center - The options to change Page Setup and Font options are now only available from the Publishing Center Options tab while building a big book. All the other Page Setup and Font options are now disabled on the forms used to set options for specific report chapters. Publishing Center - When adding a Multiple Lines of Descent chapter to a book, the MRIN list is now reset to include only the current marriage. The user is then prompted to select the desired marriages for the report. RTF Pictures - The option to embed pictures in RTF file is now found on the Pictures tab of the Report Options screen instead of the Other tab of the main customize screen. Report Indexes - Clicking the Index checkbox with neither a Name or Location Index selected, automatically opens the Index Options screen where you can select the desired index(es). Report Indexes - Selecting either type of index from the Index Options screen automatically turns on the index printing checkbox. Report Indexes - You can now select either a Name Index, Location Index, Both, or None. Formerly you had to have a Name Index in order to have a Location Index. Source Citations on Reports - Master and Detail pictures are now included when doing RTF style output. =========================== Fixed =========================== Ancestor Book - If the Marriage Info was turned off, it was also turning off the child list. Fixed. Ancestor Web Pages - The hyperlink area for children was ending up longer than the name only. Fixed. Ancestor Web Pages - The picture for a living spouse on the first generation was being included when Suppress Details for Living was set. Fixed. Book Reports - Custom report spacing now works when creating text format output. Book Reports - Fixed the positioning of source citation numbers on strings of more than one alternate name. Book Reports - If page numbers were not being used, no footer was included when using RTF format. Fixed. Book Reports - Names with leading quoted names were sometimes using the wrong first name for sentence narratives. Fixed. Book Reports - There was a conflict between the Use Quoted Names in Narratives and Use Full Given Names in Narrative options. Fixed. Book Reports - When outputting to RTF, the picture captions are now in the user-specified font size. Chronology Report - Fixed some overlapping text when the event column was narrow. Chronology Report - Multiline descriptions were sometimes printing in two colors. Fixed. Chronology Report - The setting for source font size and style was not being used or remembered. Fixed. Chronology Report - The use of the field [RIN] for a female was resulting in a blank. Fixed. Chronology View - Children with unknown gender were showing as "Son". Now they show as "Child". Chronology View Timelines - If you opened the Select Timeline screen and then Cancelled out, any timelines already in the list disappeared. Fixed. Compiler Editing - If the Compiler information was edited when there was no family file open, an error occurred when attempting to Save it. Fixed. Customized labels - Fixed a problem with the Buried label that was not showing changed values. Date Calculator - Fixed a calculation problem. Dates - Changed the way dates sort when a month or a day are missing. They now sort to the top of the list rather than the middle. Dates - Dates like [[Bef 1700]] would become [[1700]]. Fixed. Dates - The British quarter dates (Dec Q 1891) were not sorting correctly. Fixed. Descendant Book Report - Marriage wording corrections. Descendant Book Report - Printing a book without sources right after printing one with sources was showing a source citation number for marriages. Fixed. Descendant Book Reports - Events for spouses were using the main person's living/dead setting when using conditional fields. Fixed. Descendant Book Reports - When suppressing details for living individuals, the names of living children were not being included in the index. Now they are. Descendant Books - Subsequent marriages after a suppressed duplicate line marriage were not showing on the report. Fixed. Descendant Chart in Publishing Center - Boxes were not working. Fixed. Descendant Narrative Report - The spouse's picture now prints when outputting to RTF. Descendant Report - If suppressing the details for living individuals, children's names were not printing in bold text if they were living. Fixed. Descendant View - Options, Customize Columns, Defaults was setting the row height too tall. Event Entry screen - Any event [address] fields were not being displayed in the sentence preview. Fixed. Event Screen - Pasting an event source from the source clipboard no longer moves the cursor down two fields. Exit Button - Fixed the problem where the Exit button would remain painted on the screen after Legacy was closed. FGR Report - Display of Child-Parent relationships now works correctly. FGR Report - Option to remove all blank lines was not working correctly. Fixed. FGR Web Output - Cause of death now shows properly. FGR and Individual Reports - Choosing to include Chronology pages for a batch of individuals (e.g. all Tag 1 individuals) without having the Index option selected would result in an error 91. Fixed. FGS and Individual Reports - Location prepositions were not being used properly in event sentences. Fixed. FGS and Individual Reports - The index settings in the Chronology options were conflicting with the index setting in the base report. Fixed. Family Group Record - Master Private events were still printing for the children when they shouldn't have been. Fixed. Family Group Record - The names for private spouses of children were printing when they shouldn't have. Fixed. Family Group Record - When the blank line option was set to keep birth, death, and marriage blank lines, there was no Spouse line for children. Fixed. Family Group Sheet - Turning off sources after printing with sources turned on was not clearing the children's sources from the previous print. Fixed. Family View - Individuals marked as Cremated now show that way on the Family View. Family/Ped View - Private dates are now shown on this view. GEDCOM Export - Cause of Death was being exported with the Basic set of fields when it shouldn't have been. Fixed. GEDCOM Export - Lat/Longs with small values (0000030) were not being exported. Fixed. GEDCOM Export - The Marriage User ID number is now exported and import properly. GEDCOM Export - When exporting just the Basic fields, marriage events were being included when they shouldn't have been. Fixed. GEDCOM Import - Importing an alternate name with a surname would sometimes add the surname to the main name if it was imported with no surname. Fixed. GEDCOM Import - Primary pictures were sometimes not being marked as such during import. Fixed. General To-Do Source - A source that is only attached to a General To-Do Item will not let you delete it until you unlink the source. Since it's not attached to a person the Show List wasn't working before. We now tell you that it's attached to a General To-Do Item and give you the name of that To-Do Item. Index View - Alternate names were only showing the surname portion. Also, fixed the same problem on the differences section when Merging two individuals who have different alternate names. Index View - Fixed an error 9 that would happen when customizing the columns to be displayed. Also fixed same problem with Descendants View. Individual Notes - The Find command works again. Individual Report - Long Cause of Death entries now wrap to next line(s). Individual Web Pages - When not including "All other spouses," the children that went with the subsequent spouses were being included anyway. Fixed. Information Screen - Verifying Surnames was sometimes saving an unverified name into the Master Surname List. Fixed. Internet Search - Fixed a problem with searching of the Ancestry Message Boards. Internet Search - Fixed a problem with the MyTrees.com search where surnames starting with a lower case z would not be found. LDS Reports - Don't show up now if LDS options are turned off. Legacy Home - If a user removed the LegacyHomeTemplate.htm file Legacy was not warning the user. Files in the LegacyHome folder should not be messed with. Legacy Import - Import of the burial field when it is flagged as a cremation was not getting the cremation flag set correctly. Location Report - Fixed an error 6 that would occur if you had more than 32,000 master locations. Marriage Screen - Fixed a resizing problem with events list. Master Lists - Some of the lists like the Surname or Child Status lists were incorrectly showing a Picture button even though pictures cannot be linked to them. Merge - Fixed an error 94 in merge. Name List and Address Label screen - the Page Setup button no longer disappears after previewing a report. Name Tags - At least one Avery format was resulting in the last label on the page being printed on the next page. Fixed. Navigation - Maximizing the Legacy screen would sometimes switch to different person than the one you were on. Never Married (and had no children) Flag - Was being cleared if the marriage screen was opened and then Cancelled without adding a marriage record. Fixed. Notes - Word wrapping wasn't working correctly in Deluxe mode. Fixed. Notes - Zoom was not working correctly. Fixed. Options Customize - Fixed a problem with Test All Multimedia Paths on the Locations tab when a missing file was found and you click the browse button to look for the file yourself and then click the *.* option to list all files and no files would be listed as they should be. PAF Import - Fixed a problem with import of marriage sources. Pedigree Chart - Marriage date and place were being truncated. Fixed. Pedigree Web Pages - User ID numbers were being shown when AFN numbers were requested. Fixed. Picture Center - If an attached picture was not found (maybe the user renamed it) and the user clicked browse to find the picture and selects a different name the new picture is now properly saved. Picture Gallery - Pasting pictures to another person's gallery would sometimes result in two preferred pictures. Fixed. Picture List Report - The option to show names has been changed to show how a photo is linked/used since pictures can be linked to lots of things besides just people. Picture List Report - Video filenames were also being shown in the Sound section of the report. Fixed. Potential Problems - The option to Only check records with previous errors and all new records was not checking the correct records. Potential Problems - The record selection option to show previously reported and new items was not working correctly. Publishing Center - Canceling from a Load a Saved Book would lose the current settings. Fixed. Publishing Center - Changes to a Place Holder's name were not being remembered. Fixed. Publishing Center - Chapter titles for Descendant books were sometimes for the wrong person. Fixed. Publishing Center - Editing the settings for a report would sometimes change the focus person for that report. Fixed. Publishing Center - Saving and Loading of books now works correctly. Publishing Center - Spell checking in the "Additional" sections sometimes erased newly added text. Fixed. Publishing Center - Starting a new book, adding chapters, and then Closing would sometimes have mismatched report user files associated with the new chapters. Fixed. Publishing Center - Text with diacritics was not appearing in RTF format. Fixed. Publishing Center - The "Start each report section on an odd-numbered page" option was not sticking. Fixed. Publishing Center - The RTF Editor was losing text formatting when the window was resized or a text file was imported. Fixed. Publishing Center - The setting for the use of leaders on the Table of Contents now sticks as it should. Publishing Center - Timeline Charts for Descendants were using the title for Ancestors. Fixed. Publishing Center - Using to Ctrl-V to paste information to the Editor screen was inserting two copies of the text. Fixed. Publishing Center - When generating a Table of Contents and when starting each chapter on an odd-numbered page, a blank page was generated at the end of the book. Fixed. Relationship Form - An updated Danish relationship form is included in this build. Relationship Report - Long names were pushing the relationship term to the right. Long names now wrap. Report Headings and Title Pages - Some fields like [FirstName] and [HusbFirstName] were not using the quoted parts of given names when both the Use Quoted Names in Narratives option and the Remove Quoted Names option were set. Fixed. Report Notes - Text pasted from word processors was sometimes losing superscript characters. Fixed. Report Settings - The Include Border Line on Pictures setting was not being remembered. Fixed. Research Guidance - RG does NOT use the "Term for Christening" found in Options>Customize>Data Format Search List - When typing a Surname in the find Surname box followed by a comma and a letter search was looking too far if a match was not found. Set Relationship - Fixed the tabbing order on this screen and on the Relationship Calculator screen. Source Repositories - Cancel ling out of a Select Repository would blank out the existing repository. Fixed. Sources on Reports - Sources for the "This couple did not marry" setting are now included on reports. Temple button - Fixed a problem where the temple icon on the main toolbar would sometimes not work. To Do List - Fixed a problem with the resizing of the Source icon. Tree Finder - Selecting an individual from the Tree Finder screen would not navigate to that person if coming from the Pedigree tab. User Files - A reset was happening each time Legacy was started if the current Windows regional setting used number is commas as the decimal separator. Fixed. Web Pages - Alternate names are now correctly included in the Surname Index and Name List web pages. Web Pages - On the main table of contents page for Pedigree style web pages the link to the starting person was not always correctly linked to the page that has their preferred parents. Web Pages - Parents who were marked private were being displayed in the Family Links section of Pedigree-style web pages. Web Pages - The "Use a Solid Background Color" option was not working correctly. Web Pages - The background color tag for pages was missing a # character. Web Pages - The names.htm page was missing a <tr> and </tr> tag. Web Pages - The reset button was not changing the web background color back to the default setting.
