I attempted to do this search and ran into a problem.
If you had click on a person *before* the search just to see the Individual's Information, but changed nothing, and then closed out the window by clicking on the *red X*, that person is modified as far as Legacy is concerned. However, if you closed out the window by clicking on *cancel*, that person is not modified.
This inconsistency seems to be a bug. And will mess up searches.

Search > Find > Detailed Searches Tab
Who to look for Individual
What to look for Modified Date
How to Look Equal To, or After your choice
Enter the day you did the data entry.

Make sure clear list before search is on
Click Create list and there will be all the people you modified
Now you can use them as a focus group in your export to a GEDCOM to import into your laptop. Then use Tools Merge to merge the family you just added with the one already there.
