If you logged your groff build, you'll find that it warns (in the absence of gs) that pdfroff won't work correctly. i.e. it installs a broken pdfroff. Same for grohtml. Perhaps we've just been lucky in the past. > for the time until xorg is updated to 7.6 in the book, it might be a > good idea to mention my problems somewhere - either makeing a remark in > the lfs/groff or in the blfs/libX section, or even update the 7.5 wget > to include the 2 packages i had to upgrade. I've no idea where BLFS is going in the move to 7.6 - my (old) radeons work well in everything except mesa-demos, but then I no longer build a lot of the old things (many of the 'apps' still listed in BLFS, also the old core fonts - I'm all TTF here). You have the data - since BLFS is theoretically still targetted at LFS-6.7, perhaps you can mention what is broken with groff-1.21 on blfs-whichever ? And thanks for your full debugging of this. ĸen -- das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
