hello just as an alert for the developers, I have noticed that when lftp is built against the upcoming openssl-3.0 (currently 3.0.0-alpha6) there is a problem with https protocol.
eg: lftp --debug '-els -l;quit;' https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/texi/ hangs at the end, after "---- Closing HTTP connection" OTOH, when building vs stable openssl-1.1.1g, the above command completes with no problems (everything else unchanged).
