Richard,
Maplins <URL=http://www.maplins.co.uk> will sell you a wirable 2.5mm plug,
part number FJ85G, for the princely sum of 0.99...the postage is probably
more than that.
Canford Audio (0191 417 0011) do a better quality metal 2.5mm plug, but only
in mono (43-244) so I wouldn't suggest it for a Lib.
RS and Farnells only carry mono 2.5mm straight connecters...
This may or may not be what you want, but it's in the
UK...http://www.rehabilicare.co.uk/itm00046.htm - doesn't say mono or stereo
and it comes with a lead attached
Other than that, I think you're out of luck. I can't find RA 2.5mm jacks at
any of my normal suppliers.
One thought - if you're going to make an adaptor with a lead, you could
solder up the plug part and then make an araldite blob instead of the proper
cover and persuade the lead to go sideways.
Cheers,
Neil
