Comment:
In r6975 a new general plugin class was added. This has now completely
replaced the old CPlugin class. Plugins don't inherit from this new class;
they must still implement the LP_* functions. Once they are loaded they
will be represented as an instance of this new class.
If we wish to change the LP_* functions into a class, we'll create a new
ticket.
