Ce serait marrant de savoir comment on peut cr�er *accidentellement* 300000 fichiers mais je suppose que �a doit vite arriver ;-)
Bonne question Araud :
pour disperser de gros jobs sur ma 'grille' de calcul (cf Sun Grid Engine), je pars d'une TRES longue liste de courtes s�quences de DNA (des millions) et je divise cette liste en morceaux optimaux (+- 100.000 s�quences) afin de lancer sur la grille chaque sous-liste.
Au cours des tests d'�valuation de ce seuil optimal, j'ai fait une coquille et je me suis retrouv� avec de tr�s petites (donc tr�s nombreuses) sous-s�quences -> cela a g�n�r� un tr�s grand nombre de jobs avec leurs fichiers de donn�es, logs etc.
Voil� pour la petite histoire !

Je ne cherche pas sp�cialement la performance mais vraiment la qualit�
de pouvoir se redresser d'un, ou plusieurs, voir syst�matique shutdown
en retirant la prise :-)
