Last week I was creating some 100gb LVM filesystems on SLES8 SP2 using 3390-9's.
I wanted to STRIPE (greater than 1) , but LVM kept telling me that I did not have enough space. I tried using more mod 9's...but kept getting the same msg. The only way it would let me build this 100gb filesystem was with STRIPE=1. Am I misunderstanding LVM?? Can anyone shed some light?
