This position involves working in enterprise systems development & design for the XIV group. The selected candidate will work with development teams on a number of challenging development projects and will work as a system programmer in a Linux environment. Working in XIV means working in a high performance culture, where the quality of the product and its architecture are ranked very high . Requirements: 1. Candidates must be skilled at programming in C/C++. 3-5 years experience at a similar role. 2. B.Sc./B.A. in computer science/computer engineering/electronic engineering OR military service in one of the technological units of the Intelligence Corps / Talpiot / Mamram Advantages: 1. Familiarity with the Unix environment 2. Familiarity with operating systems: Unix (Solaris/AIX/HPUX), Linux, windows 3. Experience with a large scale distributed software system product 4. Familiarity with advance development methodologies (agile programming, extreme programming) 5. Familiary with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL) 1. Familiarity with storage protocols (SCSI, iSCSI, FibreChannel) 2. Familiarity with grid computing architecture and underlying hardware (Infiniband, clustering, load balancing) The advantages are just that, the requirements are flexible as well.
