Well, that looks like it compensates for a bug in the printer itself.  It 
has nothing to do with UHCI.  Apparently the printer can't do two things 
at once: engage in a bulk data transfer and send its ID string.  The patch 
just delays getting the ID string until there's no bulk transfer in 
progress.
