I appear to have gotten no response from that. I found that a work around for my problem was to plug my my mouse into another port on my motherboard and not into a port on the hub on my keyboard.
I have no idea why my keyboard (a happy hacking mk2) does not like my mouse (a logitech mouseman dual optical). I had noticed stuck keys but I only knew something was seriously wrong was when I plugged my joypad into my keyboard. The was because when an application was using /dev/js0 and my joypad was disconnected and reconnected it would be reassigned as /dev/js1. Which is exactly what would happen with the hub (my keyboard) that it was plugged into reset itself. The same problem did not occur for keyboard or mouse input as I was using a common device for each of them. (/dev/tty[1-9] and /dev/input/mice). -- Christopher John Purnell | I thought I'd found a reason to live http://www.lost.org.uk/ | Just like before when I was a child --------------------------| Only to find that dreams made of sand What gods do you pray to? | Would just fall apart and slip through my hands ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. >From Windows to Linux, servers to mobile, InstallShield X is the one installation-authoring solution that does it all.
