Just wondering if anyone has seen this. We are running a G5, Linux 2.2.16GA and VM/ESA V2R4.0.
We are seeing, more and more frequently, kernel loops in add_timer. The processor is stuck in a spinlock trying to lock timerlist_lock. It doesn't seem to matter how many processors the server has.
