I want to sweep pitch from a D minor chord down to a B minor chord in
the piano roll, over the course of a bar. Not a discrete glissando,
but a continuous portamento change.

Can this be done in the piano roll? I want to make it a beat/bassline
element, so I can use the element at my convenience.

(This could probably be done with whole-song automation, but that's
ridiculously annoying and utterly lacking in convenience and
versatility. Frankly, it'd be easier to manipulate the sound in
Audacity and read it in as a sample.)
