Thanks for your answers but I have allready solved this problem.
I installed the ltspfs package (I think) which I thought wasn't necessary,
and everything worked smoothly.
I am using what I think is LTSP 5. I didn't had to create a fuse group or
anything. It did that for me.
Saved me some work!

When I installed LTSP 4.2 by hand my users could suspend the server from the
clients (It was making me crazy until I discover why the server would
suspend/shutdown).
I had to disable that option in gnome gconf.

With the ubuntu packages it is all taken car of.
