Thanks for looking at this, Stephan, and sorry for the trouble. Your patch looks reasonable to me. I have one comment: Is it possible that a simple "~" would make it to that point of the code? i.e. do we have to check for "~" in addition to "~/"? Also, do you think we should consider reverting 9b64d7bd? I hope not, but I ask you since I think at this point you have the best understanding of the situation. Scott
