The Arabic tutorial seems to be unfinished: Non-arabi text passages aren't properly declared as foreign, thus being also displayed in LyX RTL. "egapnam" and XYL as examples.

But is this really wide spread as a default for all Arabic speaking users? (If I delete everything after 1.2 a PDF is generated and thanks to the miracles of xetex the latin script is output LTR.) This is with 2.3-dev and TL2016 on OS X 10.10. greetings Mike
