The Arabic tutorial seems to be unfinished:

Non-arabi text passages aren't properly declared as foreign, thus being
also displayed in LyX RTL.  "egapnam" and XYL as examples.


Further it does not compile.
The log file does not show errors, only warnings.

The font Scheherazade is installed at Version 2.100 (build 932/914).
But is this really wide spread as a default for all Arabic speaking users?

(If I delete everything after 1.2 a PDF is generated and thanks to the
miracles of xetex the latin script is output LTR.)

This is with 2.3-dev and TL2016 on OS X 10.10.
