i want to use lyx fairly frequently, but everytime i restart my computer i am not able to load the application on my mac big sur 11.3.1. when i try to open lyx, i get the dialog:
*“LyX.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.* This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information. This item is on the disk image “LyX-2.3.6.2+qt5-12-x86_64-cocoa (2).dmg”. Chrome downloaded this disk image today at 5:23 PM from *www.lyx.org <http://www.lyx.org>*. Is there any way to get rid of this message?
