There is a bug in qt4.5.0 that might crash LyX when you try to scale down a figure on screen to 50% and the figure has an odd number of lines. Please upgrade to qt4.5.1, or change the 50% into e.g. 51%. see also: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/5957 Vincent
