Liviu, I have managed to fix this. The preferences file had downloaded as preferences.txt.
But looking at my other installs, I noticed it has no extension, so I deleted the ",txt", and everything now works. Can't say I remember deleting this before, but its now working. Thanks for your help.. Graham
