Hi,

Are there people on this list that use Debian Etch RC1?

I have it on my Mini. After applying the latest firmware update I
popped in the Debian CD and let it use the entire harddisk. No more
MacOSX, I just use it as an at home Linux-server.

It runs quite nice except two problems:
- it doesn't always boot. Headless, I can't see the problem. With a
monitor attached one time it complained about USB-issues. It seems to
boot fine with a USB-device attached (BTW - I do the resistor-trick
to boot without monitor).
- it doesn't reboot after a power outage. Is there a way I can make
it restart automatically? Are there patches I need to apply? Will a
newer vanilla Debian kernel work?

Thanks in advance!
Rene
