As usual, Colbert manages to miss the point entirely. "God of the gaps" theology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_of_the_gaps) is wretched enough at its very best (and rarely taken seriously by actual theologians). The fact that O'Reilly hasn't picked an actual, currently-existing gap is kind of beside the point.
