That was true up to a point. However, when NATO attacked Sirte, there were Gaza-like casualties. Gilbert Achcar backed a no-fly zone but opposed actions such as that one. In my own view, it is best to oppose imperialist intervention across the board because even in the best of cases they help to legitimize the worst of cases.
