I don't have a 5.7 Bill.

 

Just a 2.4 AP that I want to repeat.  Was just seeing if I can do a
one-radio repeater type bridge thingy

We have done this with MT, Ubiquiti, Tranzeo, and others.  The 2.4 does
not seem to interfere with a 5.7 at all.  If the bandwidth requirements
are modest, you can build a bridge with a 5, or 10 MHz channel, which
reduces the chances of interference even more.
