Well most database solutions seems to be available only under the GPL, but a special agreement could probably be negotiated.

But unless the "special agreement" was a relicensing under the MPL/GPL/NPL (or a BSD-like license) then it wouldn't satisfy our licensing requirements. "You have special permission to use it in Mozilla only" does not make the software Free.

Maybe I'm stupid, but if BSD would be OK, so why not work with PostgreSQL ?
