How do you know which the "main" streams are? The AutoPID tries to be a bit intelligent and makes its decisions based on "preferred" languages, stream types, filtering out "visual commentary" and audio for the "hearing impaired" etc, but it's not that easy to automatically decide which stream the user wants and IMHO it's better to be safe than sorry (i.e. better record too much than too little).

If you have any ideas for improving this, I'm open to suggestions (and patches). :) The code is in AutoPID() in dvbrecorder, and you might want to search the list for "PreferredLanguages" too. The AutoPID *should* log which language each stream is in; I don't know when this got lost but it's simple so I'll send a patch in a bit...
