first you need to install cnews or inn. read the manpages for this. if you
did it, read also the faq for newsx. you find it on the website for newsx.
check, if all folders are created and exist. i´m using suse-linux and here
i have a home-dir /etc/news with all config-files and any other folders
under /var/spool/news.
