Raven Pro "Think Spring (Migration)" Price Promotion
The Raven Team works on the Raven software at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
This winter has been unusually (and unreasonably) cold, and we just got hit
with more than a foot of snow. In order to help us look forward to spring, we
are reducing the price of Raven Pro to $100 for a
standard/academic/government/non-profit license (regularly $400), $200 for a
commercial license (regularly $800), and $50 for an instructional license
(regularly $100, minimum purchase = 4) from now until the second day of spring,
March 21. This gives us a reason to be happy for the next 6 weeks while we
wait for spring to arrive in central New York. We want as many people as
possible to be able to use Raven Pro, and we want to be able to continue to
support and develop the software. Country discounts are still available so
check the web site and write to
raven_ord...@cornell.edu<mailto:raven_ord...@cornell.edu> to see if there are
discounts in your country.
Student licenses and one-year subscription licenses will not be offered during
this period because the standard price (for a permanent license) has been
reduced to the normal student/subscription price. Semester licenses are still
$50, but we hope that people who were planning on a semester license will
consider a permanent license instead.
These prices are only planned to be in effect until the second day of spring in
the Northern Hemisphere (March 21) so use this opportunity to get Raven Pro at
up to a 75% discount, depending on your license type.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements on the new Raven Pro 1.5 beta and the
creation of a new team of Raven Ambassadors to help educate scientists and
students around the world on sound analysis and best practices when using Raven
Pro.

Regards,
The Raven Team

Note: Cornell University reserves the right to change the price of Raven Pro at
any time without notice. We do not plan to support all versions forever, so
please check the web site to see if your version is currently supported. If
not, then download the latest version and upgrade your license for free.
Upgrades to 1.x versions of Raven Pro have always been free, but at some point,
we may release version 2.0, which may include an upgrade fee. Raven Pro
permanent licenses never expire, so even if we do release a version 2.0 at some
point in the future, you will still be able to use version 1.4 or 1.5 as long
as you want without paying anything more.
