There is a (fairly serious) bug in two of the context-supplied Latin Modern .map files: context-base.map:148:cmbx5 CMBX12 <cmrm.enc <lmbx5.pfb original-public-lm.map:71:cmbx5 CMBX12 <cmrm.enc <lmbx5.pfb Of course, both lines should use CMBX5 instead of CMBX12. Fixing that removes the problem. It seems the bug was introduced in ConTeXt 2005.05.25.
