Good question. I know you can select merge or no merge - but selectively merge interfaces? I'm thinking not.
My only option without dedicating more brain power than I have this morning is to run two instances of nTop with interface merge enabled on each. One instance listens on eth1 and 2, the other listens on eth3 and 4. This means in order to monitor a link, I need to put two ethernet ports into promiscuous mode. As I have two ethertaps out there, is there a way I can merge them in the following manner: link1: eth1 and eth2 link2: eth3 and eth4 Thank you for your time... --jason ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jason Brooks ~ (503) 641-3440 x1861 Direct ~ (503) 924-1861 Cell ~ (503) 467-1908 [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://twiki.wrs.com/do/view/Main/JasonBrooks http://twiki.wrs.com/do/view/PBUeng/LabOperations Senior Lab Engineer Wind River Systems 8905 SW Nimbus ~ Suite 255 Beaverton, Or 97008 _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list Ntop@unipi.it http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop

"This email is intended to be reviewed by only the intended recipient and may contain information that is privileged and/or confidential.
