Good question.  I know you can select merge or no merge - but
selectively merge interfaces?  I'm thinking not.

My only option without dedicating more brain power than I have this
morning is to run two instances of nTop with interface merge enabled on
each.  One instance listens on eth1 and 2, the other listens on eth3 and
4.

I am using ntop as an nms server via passive ethertaps.  This means in
order to monitor a link, I need to put two ethernet ports into
promiscuous mode.  As I have two ethertaps out there, is there a way I
can merge them in the following manner:

link1: eth1 and eth2

link2: eth3 and eth4
