I wondered about that - not seeing any Inspirons on the web site. Having
used lots of Optiplexes and a bunch of Latitudes over the last 10 years and
having good luck with them and seeing some minor issues with Dimensions and
Inspirons in domain situations, I was trying to decide between the Vostro
and a Latitude. There is less than $100 difference in cost between the two
similarly configured machines. Probably a well spent $100 right up front and
likely save more than that in problems and downtime over the life of the
machine. As for docking stations, this company doesn't need that at all.

Thanks to all for the thoughts. I can always count on this list for accurate
information.
