Montezuma National Wildlife Complex (MNWC) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)------------ 11/27: 2 ROSS’S GEESE and 1 CACKLING GOOSE were found in the Mucklands on Rt.31. 53 SANDHILL CRANES were seen from East Road in Knox-Marsellus Marsh. 11/28: 1 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER was still lingering at the Visitor’s Center. 11/30: SANDHILL CRANE numbers were down to 33 at Knox-Marsellus Marsh. also noted were good numbers of TUNDRA/TRUMPETER SWANS and at least 1000 SNOW GEESE. Onondaga County------------ 11/27: A RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was seen again at Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville. Madison county------------ 11/30: A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE is still being seen at Woodman Pond. Herkimer county------------ 11/28: A ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was seen on Cole Road north of Little Falls. Oswego County------------ 11/26: A ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was seen on Kibby Road south of Mexico. 13 PINE SISKINS were seen on Bishop Road north of Pulaski.
