After my earlier post I ran into Dan I. who had what was apparently the same 
bird at the south end at 7am. He got a much closer pic, which Andrew just 
helped me ID as a Wilson's. 
Not sure if it's still around. It had left the overlook while my group was 
still there, and was not at the south end when we visited later on. We left the 
east pond around 9:15am. 
My apologies, and good luck if you go looking for it.
