Greetings: This is the Syracuse Rare Bird Alert for the week of November 21, 
2015.
Highlights--------------
RED-THROATED LOON AMERICAN BITTERNCATTLE EGRETRED-NECKED GREBEAMERICAN WHITE

Montezuma National Wildlife Complex (MNWC) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex 
(MWC)------------
     Good numbers of waterfowl continue in the main pool along the Wildlife 
Trail. The CATTLE EGRETS continue at Goose Haven although the number is down to 
three and the birds are sometimes seen to the west of East Tyre Road with 
horses.     11/25: A late MARSH WREN and FIELD SPARROW WERE SEEN ON THE 
WILDLIFE TRAIL.     11/27: TUNDRA SWANS (no number given) were seen on the 
Wildlife Trail. The first big group (1450) of SNOW GEESE was seen in flight on 
the Wildlife Trail. A late AMERICAN BITTERN was seen on the Wildlife Trail. 63 
SANDHILL CRANES were seen on Armitage Road.

Cayuga County------------
     11/23: 2 RED-NECKED GREBES were seen at Fair Haven State Park.     11/25: 
5 RED-THROATED LOONS were seen at Fair Haven State Park.      11/27: An ICELAND 
GULL and a DUNLIN were seen at Fair Have State Park.

Onondaga county------------
     11/25: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on Banner Road in Tully.     11/26: A 
RED-THROATED LOON was see from Restoration Way on the east shore of Onondaga 
Lake.

Oswego County------------
     11/23: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on Rt. 104 in the Town of Scriba. A 
RED-NECKED GREBE was seen at Sunset Bay Park on Lake Ontario,     11/24: A 
NORTHERN GOSHAWK was seen on Rainbow Shores Road. A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL 
was seen at Selkirk Shores State Park.      11/27: An ICELAND GULL was seen aat 
Oswego Harbor.

Madison County------------
     11/23: A SANDHILL CRANE was seen again on Ditchbank Road north of 
Chittenango.

Herkimer County------------
11/24: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on Military Road north of Dolgeville.

Jefferson County------------
     11/28: An AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN was seen at the Black River Bay Fishing 
Area off of Military Road in the Town of Hounsfield.
