A short visit to late 2016 hot spots yesterday relocated some birds of note, including the following: Lake Ronkonkoma - Tundra Swans, Common Mergansers Robert Moses SP, Field 5 - Lapland Longspur among 10 Horned Larks, Peregrine Falcon at the water tower Belmont Lake - Snow Goose Westhampton Beach Town Marina - Lesser Black-backed Gull Dune Road - Snowy Owl, Great Cormorant Along the drive, we spotted an immature Bald Eagle - flyover above Sunrise Highway, Eastport area.
