Years ago when restoring my '50 truck, I bought the basic wiring harness from
Chevy Duty (now Classic Chevy Truck Parts of America). It was $99 and it
worked perfectly. Extremely easy installation with labeled wires, schematic,
etc. Been driving the truck for the past 8 years with no issues what so ever.
It's not cloth insulated like original (this one is plastic insulation) so if
you're a true purist it might not work for you, but it's a nice harness.

Any suggestions for a new wiring harness for my 1949 Chevy 3/4 ton? I
see significant variance in prices and I am sure in quality as well. I am
looking at the LMC and Classic Parts version but they still vary in price from
$150 to $270 or even more. Anyone had experience, good or bad, with
either of these vendors/products? Or have other recommendations??
