exactly, I simply wanted to start a discussion on a further channel and I haven't offered anything concrete. It was an attempt of brainstorming without the success that I has looked for :-( The idea of such a partner network of course is that people or even companies can make use of it and can recommend each other on demand. Or ISV can work together on bigger deals if necessary. As Rob pointed already out if IBM receive a request for support for AOO but IBM can't help for whatever reason it would be good to have a partner network worldwide where we simply could recommend an ISV/partner. It's funny in the past people complained about the dominance of Sun/Oracle in the project, then people tried to put IBM in this position. But IBM don't want a special role in the project, we want be part of the overall community and want work together with others. It seems that you expect IBM should taking a leading role here. But I think the best way to show confidence in the project is a healthy, diverse and working community without a leading company and that exactly is what Apache guarantees.
