Quick note: in a recent set of commits, a number of prereqs (such as liblog-log4perl-perl) were added to the Evergreen Makefile.install file, but these are already part of the prereqs installed by the OpenSRF Makefile.install.
This seems to run counter to the approach of "first, install OpenSRF (and therefore install its prereqs); then, install Evergreen (and its own additional prereqs)" that keeps the prereqs separate and avoids dual maintenance. Was this intentional (in which case, it would be useful to know why it is necessary), or just an oversight? -- Dan Scott Laurentian University
