This is extremely possible using just the "Image Magick Supported Format" mechanism you tried. It looks like you need jpeg 6.2 (which I am seeing from a RedHat 6.2 installation libjpeg-6b-10.rpm). Then set LD_LIBRARY_PATH accordingly (you didn't say what OS). Pete
